Our Story
The story of LUMION starts 10 years ago at a cocktail party in New York City, when a doctor noticed redness near our founder Lisa’s eye and suggested a steroid—not exactly the small talk she expected. Instead of filling a prescription, Lisa tried a lab sample of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) she had at home. By the next morning, her skin looked and felt calmer. Inspired by that moment, the mom of two set out to create LUMION so everyone could experience the power of HOCl.
Today, LUMION is known as the OG of hypochlorous acid skincare. Our science-backed formulas use a proprietary process to keep our HOCl stable for lasting potency and are crafted right here, in the USA, from a top-tier, FDA-cleared medical manufacturer.
