The story of LUMION skincare starts 10 years ago at a cocktail party in New York City, when a doctor noticed redness near our founder Lisa’s eye and suggested a steroid—not exactly the small talk she expected. Instead of filling a prescription, Lisa tried a lab sample of Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) she had at home. By the next morning, her skin looked and felt calmer. Inspired by that moment, the mom of two set out to create LUMION skin so everyone could experience the power of HOCl.
